Болховитин Александр Павлович Your Silent

How little we need for happiness
But where is it?
Show it to me!

A little tenderness and sweetness
And chocolate
And just a drop, a tiny drop of love
Of love — and a kiss

And if happiness is a door
Then you are the keys
And I am lost, but yours
Don't be silent
Tell me no
I'll wait a minute
And hear yes
In your silence

And a kiss is a reward
For a soul that has been longing
In the wilderness, in the wilderness
Of lost, closed-off souls

And the feeling of flight into the heavens
When your eyes are suddenly closed

I'm not silent — I'm listening to how you
Are afraid of the quiet
Don't rush
I'm here

So it was, so it will be — and a tear
In times past and times to come
When the answer is — first no
Then silence
And then suddenly yes

And this yes — is like the whole world
Like air
Like water

And a kiss is a reward
For a soul that has been longing
In the wilderness, in the wilderness
Of lost, closed-off souls
And the feeling of flight into the heavens
When your eyes are suddenly closed

And if the world is unfair
And if the day is like grey smoke
I still whisper
Live
You are happiness
Just be with me

Be with me

Live
