NEONIK 68, NEONIK 68 My Mighty Home

I step outside to greet the early morning
And fill my lungs with cold and crystal air
My eyes are lost within the endless distance
Of this beloved land beyond compare

Youre beautiful through every changing season
In winter snow or underneath the May
Such endless landscapes wild and full of wonder
From northern tundra to the mountain range

A silver airplane crosses all the country
Drawing white lines in the endless blue
From dawn till dusk it travels through the heavens
Admiring every shining view

My wondrous land my mighty home
A place of beauty carved in stone
Endless rivers forests running free
Mountains valleys fields and seas

Whether resting by the southern shoreline
Or working where the northern pine trees stand
Living in a city or the wilderness
Ive always been a child of this great land

So many regions so many different people
So many cultures underneath one sky
Yet all together we are standing stronger
Bound by the land we share through all our lives

I love your open spaces without ending
The scent of taiga and the snowy heights
Golden steppes and emerald plains before me
Blue mountain rivers shining in the light

My wondrous land my mighty home
A place of beauty carved in stone
Endless rivers forests running free
Mountains valleys fields and seas

The sleeping boats upon the Azov waters
The endless treasures of the ancient lake
The mighty rivers carving through the country
All these wonders make my spirit wake

Southern seas and white northern tundra
First eastern sunrise on the ocean wide
Western skies are glowing with the sunset
Painting golden colors far and high

Though I may never see all of your beauty
Or learn the secrets hidden in your soul
Ill always love you with a faithful passion
As poets did in stories long ago

My wondrous land my mighty home
A place of beauty carved in stone
Endless rivers forests running free
Mountains valleys fields and seas

My wondrous land my mighty home
Forever in my heart youll stay
Through every season every road
Ill love you more with every day

My mighty home
Forever
Forever
