NEONIK 68, NEONIK 68 Sweet Veronica

Though you were born on the first of April
You were no joke and never a game
Nature itself had blessed you with beauty
Everybody noticed your flame

My brother fell for you completely
I envied him a little back then
You were a wild and beautiful woman
Before I knew it you were family then

They named you Vera from the very start
But some still call you Veronica
Because you are so unbelievably beautiful
Sweet like a summer strawberry

Back in those far and distant young days
I was just a carefree teenage boy
But you were shining brighter than fire
A dark-haired beauty full of joy

My brother married you so wisely
He truly was a lucky man
Back in the day you were so sexy
And still a goddess even now you stand

They named you Vera from the very start
But some still call you Veronica
Because you are so unbelievably beautiful
Sweet like a summer strawberry

Sometimes we fought like fire and ice
Our tempers burned beneath the rain
But all those storms were blown away
And nothing heavy now remains

Time has finally placed things rightly
No need to live inside the past
Lets stop our busy lives this evening
And celebrate our Vera at last!

They named you Vera from the very start
But some still call you Veronica
Because you are so unbelievably beautiful
Sweet like a summer strawberry

Come on brother fill the glasses higher
Dont be shy pour to the top tonight!
Lets raise a toast to our birthday lady
May Veras world stay warm and bright!

Though we are getting older slowly
Your daring spirit still survives
I see the fire inside your bright eyes
And know that youthful passions still alive

They named you Vera from the very start
But some still call you Veronica
Because you are so unbelievably beautiful
Sweet like a summer strawberry

Youre still my sweet strawberry
Vera
