Текст песни

From the third collection of poems "The Dreamer” (Russian: Мечтатель).

In English (interpretation by Lord Muck):
You were standing, arms akimbo,
much intently looked at me.
Then you flung, and not a thimble,
but a chair, you were so mean.

And, besides, you threw the hoe, then
overturned the shed, quite big.
Stand still, count to a dozen.
Could we play some hide-and-seek?

You were wailing, you were calling,
you were seeking all day long.
You turned red hot from the moment
when you found me, I hid wrong.

My heart sank, my breath was shortened.
How we could do both behave?
In the whirlwind, I've forgotten
any meaning that we have.

We don't need to fight and bicker,
let's restore the damaged shed.
Make a tasty dinner quicker,
then we will go to the bed...
