Neird Nordus Flashback (English version)

Flashback flashback
Frames from childhood
We stand in the yard in our fantasy’s glow
In a carefree childhood where illusions flow
But now someone’s writing this silly script’s design
And filling the bestiary line by line
So come on, let’s rewrite this script of our own
Erase the finale and start from unknown
We’ll splatter all these creatures on the wall
Like the best TV series do after all

You’ll take the Jedi’s sword
And I’ll take the Captain’s shield
And together we’ll be
Fighting evil as before, you and me
Through years and through time
We’ll carry this burden sublime
You’ll take the Jedi’s sword
And I’ll take the Captain’s shield

Flashback - a flash in the night
Flashback - back to back, ready to fight
Flashback - Halloween in October
Flashback - we’re back in the game, not over

You’ll take the Jedi’s sword
And I’ll take the Captain’s shield
And together we’ll be
Fighting evil as before, you and me
Through years and through time
We’ll carry this burden sublime
You’ll take the Jedi’s sword
And I’ll take the Captain’s shield
Let’s rewrite it all together
