Мария The rain taps soft against the window pa

The rain taps soft against the window pane
A lone night falls, the world is washed in gray
My fingers trace the rim, a ring of cold
And every drop just whispers out your name
The coffee's warm, but all the world feels cold
A tale I've carried long and never told

First love, you stay
You never fade away
First love, you burn
You always will return
First love, so true
I'm still in love with you
First love, I know
I'll never let you go

A laugh I hear reminds me of your smile
I trace your name across the frosted glass
The neon lights are dancing on the tile
And all the memories come rushing back so fast
Two cups, two spoons, a habit I can't break
Some ghosts are sweeter than the ones we make

First love, you stay
You never fade away
First love, you burn
You always will return
First love, so true
I'm still in love with you
First love, I know
I'll never let you go

Maybe somewhere you watch the same old rain
Maybe your window fogs the same sweet pain
And though we walked away and said goodbye
Some loves are born to never, ever die

First love, you stay
You never fade away
First love, you burn
You always will return
First love, so true
I'm still in love with you
First love, I know
I'll never let you go

The rain keeps falling soft and slow
Your empty chair still holds the afterglow
In this cafe, where first love used to glow
I'll never, ever let you go
