Christmas Eve
On a Christmas Eve, many years ago
When he met the little girl among the snow
Like the sun in the winter she was bright
His heart felt warmer at the sight,
He asked to know her nam
On a Christmas Eve, she came home all wet,
He smiled and said, remember how we met?
He took an angel off the Christmas tree
She saw the ring, and breathed out "yes, I will”
She was that girl again.
And every Christmas Eve until he died
He’d bring her flowers, all her fav’rite kind
He’d light some candles on a little tree
Beside her grave, and he’d remember all that she
still meant to him.
Every Christmas Eve
I will come to you
Bring along some candles to light
I believe, my love
No matter where we are,
We’re together on a Christmas
