He was a king but he stole and did not even hide it
He thought he could get away with it

He was a scoundrel and a liar and thought only of one thing
He thought only of power
In chests full of gold and pearls soaked in blood
He found his happiness
And when the people took the crown from him
He could hardly even see in a terrible dream
That those who once guarded him threw stones at him
And spat in his face
The king was paralyzed with fear he dared not resist
He collapsed completely powerless onto the scaffold
A moment passed and then his head
Was placed on the stake
Villains of all kinds and scoundrels
And history teaches us not for nothing
That sooner or later in the end
