Through the black ravine so cold and blind
Dragged a human swarm condemned in line
Beneath the ravens scraping cries
I saw it all as if in dreams
Yet somewhere deep it felt too real
Barefoot and naked i walked there too
I wandered through the endless dark
One among many yet none were mine
Not souls i wished beside me still
Where faces should have lived and breathed
There hung black voids and savage grins
And every step with them felt wrong
They poured some venom down our throats
And with that poison stole all thought
Transforming crowds into obedient cattle
Dragged away by the rabid mass
I tried at least to move my hands
But ropes held tight exactly as intended
My heart kept aching in my chest
Ahead i saw the yawning abyss
And those who led the march fell first
The same damn fate awaited me
To burn within the fires below
And i could scarcely hope to escape
In helpless rage i screamed above
I begged my god my god stayed silent
Only staring down at me in wrath
Still i whispered one last prayer
Took the final step and fell
I tried to wake before the end
