Rising high and majestic and alone
On the granite base, the figures tell
The story of war years well
Two bas reliefs, carved with solemn grace
Show the Siberians at the front and base
One scene is of battle, fierce and wide
One is of labor - those who stayed behind
And there in bronze is a touching sight
A mother holding her son so tightly
They say goodbye with love and pain
In a sculpture called "Farewell" - etched in rain
Forever silent yet loud with pride
They guard the memories of those who fell
A monument to glory, strong and true
A promise we will remember you
